Lego: Parisian Restaurant (10243)

With the lockdown circuit breaker measures in place, we try not to get out of the house too often.  Since I'm no longer working and my online business is a little on the slow side (coz my suppliers in the US are also in lockdown so I practically have no stock to sell), I decided to help my husband complete his Lego building exercise.

The first one is the Parisian Restaurant (Item no. 10243).  There's altogether 2,469 pieces.  Hubby did parts of it but I found him too slow so I took over the entire set.  Most importantly, he is using our dining table to fix his Lego sets so by helping him, I can quickly get my dining table back.

Since he has completed the ground floor, I worked on second floor up.

Compared to my nano bricks, this is considered easy coz the blocks are bigger and easier to find. Starting from the middle is not that hard when the instructions is so straight forward.  Interesting part about the second floor is that there is actually a murphy bed that can fold up to be a wall and down to be a bed.

Looks great when stacked on top of first floor.

Top floor, which is the attic is actually an art studio.

Front of the top floor looks like some seashell and baguette plastered together.  But I guess this is what will give it the renaissance look.

The Parisian Restaurant is completed.  It didn't take too long to complete and I quite like it!  Giving myself a pat on the back :p  Going for the second project :)

Want to build one yourself?  You can purchase it on Qoo10 here.  It's one of the cheaper authentic ones found online that is located in Singapore.  Enjoy your build!!
